Euroshorts fest to host Iranian ‘Flying Fishes’

The 2021 Euroshorts Film Festival in Poland is to host Iranian ‘Flying Fishes’.

Iranian short flick ‘Flying Fishes’ has been selected to compete at the 30th edition of the Euroshorts Film Festival in Poland.

Directed by Mohammad Towrivarian, the short film is about a teacher who is new to a village. He notices that the only girl in his class does not talk and has cigarette burn on her skin.

‘Flying Fishes’ has so far participated in several international film festivals, including the Solidando Film Festival in Italy, the Kinofilm & Manchester International Film Festival in the UK, the Reading Film Festival in the US, the Autumn Shorts Film Festival in the US, and the VKRATZE international film festival in Russia.

The Eurosorts Film Festival will be held both in person and online. The event will include shows and discussions with filmmakers.

The upcoming edition of the fest is scheduled for November 29-December 5, 2021.
